A show to take away
2010, five years of activity for our company, five balletts for traditionnal stages and theaters. During this time, all the artists of our group was continually thinking about the public, his place, the contact that we cause – or not - with him. In 2011 we decided to synthetize all these reflections, create a ballett without rehearsal studio, work without doors between the spectators and the artists, go out and meet « the real world ». War of sex doesn’t come off… Men are trying to control women, and women are trying to control men : everyone is trying to control each other, and everyone is dependinf of each other, in the ballroom – where the men is traditionnaly the only conductor – and in the real life. This fighting for the power against the traditionnal role, turns the tables… especially interesting in our occidental contemporary society where rules the icon, the picture : everything is used to show, to say, to exhibit. In this kind of society war of sex is not finished… but we believe that men and women have to confront theirselves, to accept their each differences and conquer each other their freedom Dancers - Music - Tech - |
