Hélène Jolly Visual Artist

Hélène Jolly was born in 1974 and today she teaches Fine Arts in Chambery, France. Her art revolves around the body, her figurations and her fulgurations. Whether she uses photography or video, it is always important for the artist to reveal the imagination behind the chosen medium. The image and the body expose themselves mutualy. Hélène Jolly met Emilie Camacho two years ago and today they work together on educational projects targeting interdisciplinary art. Since 2008 their relationship has grown even closer as Hélène participates in filming and photographing rehearsals and performances and in return Emilie participates in the creation of videographic work with performances. They are at present time working on a dance installation project together.
