Trained in ballet at the « Jeune Ballet de Paris, » she continued her studies in philosophy and journalism as she discovered contemporary dance at the same time. She began dancing for the National Choreographic Center in Grenoble, France for Jean Claude Gallotta and continued her experience on the national and internation scene for a variety of companies: cie Linga (Switzerland), cie Krassen Krastev (Switzerland), SBB (New York), cie Jean-Marc Heim (Switzerland). During this time she began writing articles about the music scene for different urban magazines. She began also developing different workshops and conferences and in 2004 she received her “Diplôme d’Etat en danse contemporaine” (French national teaching degree in modern dance) at the National Dance Center in Lyon, France. (CND, Lyon). In 2005 she choreographed “THE MAGIC FLUTE” performed by the lyrical group Les Folies Dramatiques. Emilie has always been very close to trends of graphic design, specifically relating to the company Style & Decadence and the artist Gerald Viossat.
