Originally from San Francisco, she studied at the University of San Francisco where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Choreography in 2004. In San Francisco, she had the wonderful opportunity to dance with artists of many styles including modern and hiphop (Joe Goode, Rennie Harris, Cathleen McCarthy, Robert Henry Johnson…) Living in France since 1998, due to her love of the French culture, French snow and of course French food, she received her French Dance Teaching Credential in modern dance in 2005 (diploma d’état) and teaches modern, hiphop, tap and Pilates. She dances with the modern dance company “Comme Tes Pieds” and with Rabbit Research since 2007. She initated the cultural exchange project between ODC Dance San Francisco and Rabbit Research and, in residency at ODC, choreographed with Emilie Camacho for House Special at the Theater Artaud Project in San Francisco, with their piece “C’est Bien Ainsi qu’elles Voyaient Les Choses” (2008). |
